Barkway Cemetery was founded on April 26, 1910 and is located on county road #6 in Ryde Township, which exits east off highway #11 north-bound, just north and east of the town of Gravenhurst, Ontario. It is an active cemetery, replacing the now inactive Pioneer Memorial Cemetery of the same township.
