It's time to get out and get your cache on! The month of August is being celebrated as "31 Days of Geocaching." For every day you log a cache as found or an event as attended during the month of August, you earn a unique geocaching souvenir.
Most of those who have lived in Yuma for a little while might be a little... cached out. Lots of smilies on your map, but not too many that are unfound. Plus, it's hot. Like, really hot. The last thing you want to do is leave the air-conditioned car for too long. But maybe you want to participate in Groundspeak's month-long celebration and earn your souvenir. Here's the solution: 31 brand new caches that are easy to find to get you in and out of the oppresive Sonoran Desert heat. Most are either LPCs, bison tube branch-hangers, or film canisters in bushes. All are located right near pavement or well-worn dirt roads, so you can pull up, jump out of the car, find it, sign it, and get on your way. All meant to be easy peasy.
