Geocache Description:

This cache is in a city park that has a playground, shade trees, and a bench to enjoy the ocean view. The park is quite popular, but with a little stealth it shouldn't be too hard to locate, retrieve and replace the cache without detection.

There used to be a cache called "50 Thanks" in this park, but in a big storm with hurricane winds in early 2012, many of the trees at the south edge of the park fell, and as a result, the cache was lost and subsequently archived. It seemed like a shame to have such a lovely park without a cache, so I needed to fix that by placing my first hide here. Come, sit a while and enjoy the view, and while you're at it, sign the log!
