This is a family friendly, fun cache. It my desire to create fun containers, and make them unique and family friendly. You will have to leave the trail to visit Treela, however the area is fairly open with lots of fern plants. For those familiar with my caches along this trail, this adds to the fun. If you have yet to discover any of my trail caches, bring some water, and be prepared for a pleasant hike down this open trail. Deer are common sight. Overhead you may spot a raptor, on the trail watch where you step, the deer have preceded you. Property to the right of trail is private property and there is no reason to go off that way. You can park at the same spot as my other trail caches. Coordinates for Geotroll House were taken using a Garmin GPSmap 62sc. I took three sets, with very strong signal, each set was withing .001' of each other. I can't vouch for phone cachers. Though do know that my others have been succussfully located using a smart phone.
Treela has made friends with my two Golden Retrievers, Woody and Willow (see additional photo). They may accompany you down the trail, roll on their backs to get a belly rub, but they won't lead you to Treela's house, or any other cache along the trail. Often times people will express concern over the lack of imagination, and effort in developing a container, and establishing a hide. Should you desire a park and grab film cannister on a guard rail, this is not it!!! If a fun day with a walk down a shaded (mostly) path is your idea of fun, then this is the one for you.
I ask that you retain the integrity of the cache by replacing things as found. I look forward to comments regarding this cache, if it's not one of the most unique ones you've ever found, I'd be very surprised.
