Geocache Description:

At Last! By popular demand (well, at least by orthopedic surgeons and physical therapists), Team El Fartero takes pride in presenting the thrilling conclusion of our Tree Climber's series!

To find this cache, you will need first to find and record the "secret numbers" in the other caches in this series (Tree Climber's Trauma (GC4E9ZT), Tree Climber's Trembler(GC4ARQ3), TrIaL by TrEe(GC4B4FP)). Then:

Compute the SUM of the 3 secret numbers and

ADD this sum to the decimal portion of the posted NORTH coordinates

SUBTRACT it from the decimal portion of the WEST coordinates.

This will bring you to the BIGGEST, NASTIEST, MOST TERRIFYING metallic tree that ever made Paul Bunyan soil his shorts!

If you are successful in reaching this cache, we expect you'll be feeling MIGHTY LUCKY! So, you'll be ready to try your luck at one of the 10 scratch off lottery tickets Team El Fartero has placed in the cache! If you win, hold on tight! You'll need to curb your enthusiasm until you make it safely back to the ground.

Only one ticket per team/climber, please.

******************************************************

Tree at my window, window tree
My sash is lowered when night comes on
But let there never be a curtain drawn
Between you and me

Vague dream-head lifted out of the ground
And thing next most diffuse to cloud
Not all your light tongues talking aloud
Could be profound

But tree, I have seen you taken and tossed,
And if you have seen me when I slept
You have seen me when I was taken and swept
And all but lost

That day she put our heads together
Fate had her imagination about her
Your head so much concerned with outer,
Mine with inner, weather

("Tree At My Window," by Robert Frost)

DISCLAIMER: Aw, the heck with it. If you've come this far, we think you can handle a tree. You don't need no stinkin'disclaimer!

GEOCACHERS DON'T LIE! If you've found the other caches in this series, but forgot to record or lost the secret numbers, send me an email and I'll clue you in.

CERTIFIED AND NOTARIZED: This cache PERSONALLY placed by the sure-footed old stinker!

AND WE DID NOT USE JOYCE KILMER'S "TREES" EVEN ONCE IN THIS ENTIRE SERIES! Oh, alright. "Farts are made by fools like me..."

UPDATE 4/22/14. Cache relocated to a new site. Since this forest is woefully short in climbable trees, we had to take some liberties. YEAH, THAT THING WITH THE LADDER? THAT'S WHAT YOU HAVE TO CLIMB!

We think you'll enjoy this new climbing experience. Those who've logged it already are invited to do so again. It's a whole nother climb, so you're entitled. You may also try your luck once more with a lottery ticket. Ten new tickets have been placed.
