Getting to the area shouldn't hold much mystery. Park near the courthouse square and take in the history of the area. During business hours muggles will be all around, but in the cool of the evening the area is quiet and well lit. Parking is also easier after hours.
You can park within a few yards of the hide if spaces are avaialble.
The cache is hidden in plain sight. Think low. If you get tired of looking, you might have a seat on the bench; when you are rested up you won't have far to go to make the grab.
The cache container is large enough to hold some small golf ball sized objects, a logbook and a pen.
This cache is near a historic building that is being renovated into vacation rental apartments. The renovation plans include a permanent home for a geocache that will be much cooler than this one.
