Geocache Description:

It’s that time of year again.  The temperatures are cooling down.  The kids are back in school.  Football season has started.  It must be time to get together with good friends grab a few caches, share some good times and burn a burger or two.

Granite City Park

September 21st

4:00 pm – whenever the neighbors chase us away.

Come join us for some good times and good food at the pavilion at the city park of Granite.   We have the pavilion reserved from 1:00 pm on and will be setting up early, so feel free to come on by at any time.  The event will not begin till four o’clock but don’t let that stop you from showing up any time after the CITO in the morning.

Here’s the ‘plan’ for things

1:00 pm – 4:00 pm.  Set up (Stop by and just hang out if you would like.)

{Sometime between 1:00 and 4:00 there will be at least one new cache published in the Granite area.  Who will get the FTF(s)?}

4:00 pm.  Meet and greet (Just mingle and swap stories and catch up with folks.)

5:00 pm – 6:00ish.  Eat (We will have a drawing for door prizes after dinner. All those that come to the CITO in the morning will get an extra ticket for the drawing.)

6:00 pm - ???  Hang out and enjoy a fall evening.

We will provide hamburgers and hot dogs with all the trimmings.  Please feel free bring a side dish or a dessert to share if you would like.

Please let us know the number of folks in your group so we can have enough food prepared. Thank you.

Alcohol is prohibited in the park.

Please feel free bring in lawn games or such.  Also bring your lawn chairs if you would like.  There will be plenty of seating at the tables so don’t feel you have too.  There is playground equipment for the mini-cachers.  We will be bringing our horseshoes.  Come ready to have fun.
