Kappan Mountain Road

For many geocaches, the treasure is in the journey. Starting at Highway 20 in the town of Anahim Lake, this wide, well maintained gravel road leads to the trailhead to the Kappan Mountain Lookout.
This series of caches will provide ample incentive to go a little out of your way and make the trip worthwhile. Check with one of the local resorts for information about making the final trek to the lookout itself. There, the views are breathtaking.
This is a wilderness area, so plan accordingly. There is no cell coverage. Tell someone where you are going and when you plan to return. Be sure to have a spare tire and mosquito repellant.
