Ladybug Karen is a great friend to Geocaching! One March 2011 day, she was invited by her niece Razorbacks02 to go play a game which she had never heard of. “Geocaching? What is that? she asked.” So, the fun outdoors game was explained to her. Since the fish weren’t biting, she decided to go along. After trekking a bit through the woods, an ammo box was found with some cool swag. A huge grin came across her face. She was instantly hooked! She cached all day that day and the next too! The very next morning, she created her Geocaching Handle ‘Ladybug Karen’. When she was a little girl, her family used to call her Ladybug. Since that day, she has cached for many days and has been on many adventures. She has attended many events and participated in lots of Geocaching activities. She has hidden lots of caches for others to find. At the time of this posting, she has 647 consecutive days of caching. She drives all over the state for her job and so Geocaching gives her something to look forward to doing in the evenings. Ladybug Karen is one of those Geocachers who loves the game and loves a unique cache. She is also very helpful to those of us out there too. When we need a hint, she will give a hint without telling you exactly where to look. When she finds a wet log that needs to be replaced, she helps the owner by replacing that log so that the next person to find it has something to sign. This tribute cache is to thank her for being a great friend to Geocaching.
