I would venture to say that most visitors to Great Falls stop here to watch the water coming over the dam and falls and think they're seeing the Great Falls of the Missouri described by Lewis and Clark during their search for a water route to the Pacific. Those are a bit of a drive to the northeast though. Enjoy the view from here and then, if you have the time, head on down and take a stroll on the River's Edge Trail to discover more caches and get a closer look at the falls.
