A first cache on a short linear walk from Kirkby on Bain. This is a high muggle and doggle walking area with tracks coming from 3 directions, you may also be closely watched by cows which frequently walk along these footpaths, there is also a barbed wire fence nearby and of course the river Bain, so if you have children or pets with you please keep an eye on them.
Across the river is The Church of St Mary, it is a grade II listed building and records indicate that the church dates back to Norman times, at least as early as 1451. It was rebuilt in 1802 and subsequently expanded and improved during the years 1879-82.
****FTF and Congratulations to the BTG7 assault team of the Collegerovers, Baghunter, 1cachefinder and the Logjammers****
