Load up the kids, snacks, drinks and have a great afternoon out with the whole family! Enjoy the drive to the trailhead and enjoy the buffalo on the drive up there. Once you get to the trailhead, don't worry about loading up a bunch of gear, it's not that far up the trail. Let the kids feel a nice a little hike, once you get past the fenceline your very warm.
