Geocache Description:

As I placed this cache, I imagined being shipwrecked here in the 1700's or 1800's before there was any development in this area.  What a scary place it would have been!  No fresh water supply, very few options for food, total exposure to the elements, no options for building materials like ROPE!  No bueno!  Now, of course, it's quite different, and beverage containers litter the area, along with lots of  pieces of ROPE.

This cache can be reached on a beach cruiser after a 4 mile ride from La Jolla campground as I did it, or apparently after a quick swim or boat ride from the Estero Beach Hotel area, which is within view of GZ.  No motor vehicles are allowed on this beach, as it is a nature preserve, so don't try to ride out here on an ATV, or the guard will probably chase you!  Nothing here but sand, litter (including lots of ROPE), and some hearty beach plants.  Container is a baseball sized, glass jar with log, pencil, and some swag.  Container is mostly buried in sand, but a certain portion is exposed. Please replace it as well hidden as possible, since there's really no where to hide out here!
