Geocache Description:

This cache is placed on private property, with the permission of the property owner.  Please don’t park along the main road, just pull into the driveway; Mary said it’s OK. cool  Watch for pedestrians, 2-legged and 4-legged. If you are feeling stumped, re-read the last line of the description very carefully.

The question to answer is: “Mary who?” Mary’s name is on the sign at the driveway. Well, at least her first name is. There is a last name on the sign as well, but it’s not her last name. When she bought her old family home and renovated it, she named it partially after a relative. So that brings back the question of, if that’s not her last name on the sign, what is her last name? Extra credit if you find out whose name she used for her venture. smiley

Mary’s story is told as one chapter in a book of stories celebrating women whose lives took interesting turns, sometimes intentional but sometimes not, in their “later years.” You also could just ask her, especially if she happens to pop out and say “hi” while you are snooping around. Or, you could just enjoy the find and move on; whatever works for you! smiley

The cache is a camoed lock and lock. It is child, pet, and winter friendly. FTF can choose from several goodies, including a tiny, playable, harmonica on a necklace.

You will not need to enter the old gray garage to retrieve this cache…
