This cache has been archived.

Cache-tech: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

Cache is a small size lock and lock containing a log book, pen and stickers required to fill your passport for the 2013 Exhibition Geocache Challenge.

. If you thought paying a toll on the Harbour Bridge was expensive, imagine how much the toll cost for your elephants and camels. Before there was a train bridge, circus trains stopped in the west side. These were some of our first circus parades but crossing the bridge until the 1880s cost a toll. Your elephant or camel cost 2 shillings and 6 pence. Some circus arrived by boat so they were able to come directly into the uptown. One famous circus ship, although with a tragic tale, is the St. John steamer Royal Tar, which burned at sea in 1836 with a tremendous loss of life.
