Keels is a beautiful community on the Bonavista Peninsula. I have been coming here since 1993 and have always enjoyed the spot where this cache is located. Once a thriving slate mine, it is now abandoned. Every day my wife and I visit this place for a walk. Notice the slate walls and how the color changes as you get further from the water.
