(HU) Mátyás király szülőháza, Kolozsvár legrégebbi emeletes háza, jelenleg a Művészeti és Design Egyetem épülete az Óvárban található gótikus stílusú műemlék. A romániai műemlékek jegyzékében a CJ-II-m-A-07393 sorszámon szerepel. A ház az 1440-es években Méhffi Jakab jómódú szőlősgazda tulajdonában állt, rendszerint nála szállt meg Szilágyi Erzsébet. 1443. február 23-án (szülőházi emléktáblájának felirata szerint március 27-én) született Hunyadi Mátyás. 1467. szeptember 28-án Mátyás király minden adó alól felmentette a ház akkori tulajdonosát, Kolb Istvánt, Méhffi Jakab vejét, valamint feleségét, Orsolya asszonyt, és annak testvérét, Margitot, és minden leszármazottjukat a ház és a hozzátartozó birtokok adója alól. A kiváltság, amelyet 1649-ben II. Rákóczi György is megerősített, rendkívül értékessé tette az épületet, és biztosította aránylag változatlan fennmaradását. Az épület keleti szárnyát a 16. században építették, a két szárnyat összekötő átjáró szemöldökkövén az 1578-as évszám található.
(RO) Casa Matia din Cluj, inițial „Casa Stefan Kolb” este unul dintre cele mai vechi monumente de arhitectură din Cluj, unicul palat clujean din epoca de tranziție de la stilul gotic la cel renascentist. În această clădire, situată în prezent pe strada Matei Corvin nr. 6, s-a născut regele Matia Corvin. Clădită în stil gotic, Casa Matia a suferit de-a lungul timpului modificări diverse și adaptări la stilurile noi. Astfel, în prima jumătate a secolului al XVI-lea au fost introduse o serie de elemente arhitecturale renascentiste (Renaissance). La sfârșitul secolului al XIX-lea, aflându-se într-o stare avansată de degradare, a fost restaurată, introducându-se o serie de elemente specifice stilului anilor 1900. A fost restaurată din nou în 1940 de către arhitectul Károly Kós, iar apoi, în perioada comunistă, au fost eliminate multe din modificările anilor 1900.
