In 2008 my son and I held four events while we traveled our route on a "Spring Break" trip. It was a great way to meet local cachers in cities we passed through. This trip, my son will be attending his junior year of college classes so I'll be flying solo. I would still like to meet some of the local cachers here in Sioux Falls, SD. This trip is to the 2nd International EarthCache Mega-Event.
I've searched for past events in this area and the venue I've chosen is CherryBerry. Some will know of this place, other may be visiting for the first time.
The event will be on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 from 8:30pm - 10:00pm or until the last cacher leaves. They are open to 10:00pm. There will be a few prizes to be raffled off at 9:00pm. All attendees will be responsible for their own food cost. Please state the number that will be in your group so I can be sure we will have enough space reserved with the management. I have reserved their party room which I was told holds 20 or so. We can over flow to the regular area if needed. Thank you
Please bring any shiny metal SIG items you have to trade. I'm bringing mine!
