Geocache Description:

This camouflaged roadside micro provides a scenic view of Branscombe, site of the 2007 beaching of the MSC Napoli & claimant to the title of 'longest village in England'.

While easily completed as a cache 'n' dash, this hide affords an excellent view of the picturesque Branscombe valley, including the two historic hamlets of Vicarage & Margells, the National Trust-owned Old Bakery, Forge & Manor Mill and the c13th Church of St Winifred.

Parking is available close to GZ at the supplied waypoint, but please park considerately and be sure to not block passing traffic on the beach access road.

At the time of placement, the cache contained a logbook in watertight bag only, please BYOB. Though the cache was hidden with easy extraction in mind, a tool may be useful in future retrievals.

Placed with the kind permission of the National Trust.
