2Nutz: Well, I really hate to do this since is the first cache we ever hide way back in 2013. It has had a good run of almost 9 years, with 107 found it’s. We went by to check as it recently had a couple of DNF’s and we were in the area. Found it was in place, but the log was full. So just replaced the log. As I was walking back to the car a Joshua Policeman that I had not seen earlier stopped and wanted to what I was doing? So I told him and the Joshua Parks guy was also there so I had to tell him. Neither of them had ever heard of geocaching, although the Parks guy had heard of Pokémon? They both took exception to the cache placed on the electrical box? I tried to explain to them how long the cache had been there, it wasn’t hurting anything, and how many geocaches are placed on electrical boxes and panels. There were insistent, they said they didn’t mind the cache being in the park just on the electrical box. Well that is only place I can hide so the name makes any sense as it is near one water feature that the kid play in.
So we are archiving this as that makes more sense then hiding somewhere else? I wondered why Joshua has never had very many caches hidden there? There only one other in the whole town. There have been others over the years that have been archived. It appears that Joshua is not geocache friendly!
Anyway this cache is now history as we are archiving it!
