Clay Center is the county seat of Clay County and is located at the junction of US-24 and K-15. However, when you sneak in from Manhattan ‘the back way’ you find yourself pulling in to town along the Clay County Fairgrounds.

Aside from the usual fair buildings, the park has soccer pitches, baseball fields, a rodeo arena, and a dirt race track. There is also all kinds of green space for your kiddos to burn off some pent up energy from the drive up!

While in Clay Center also be sure to hit the free zoo, the awesome parks, and stop and see The Enoch for a delicious pastry!!

Since this is at a well-used intersection, and can be busier during events being held near GZ, please be stealthy. You will be looking for a camo water bottle. Cheers!
