Dandy Horse Quest: Horse Hotel Traditional Cache

A new reason to oil your Dandy Horse or Velocipede, grab a bottle of water and your GPSr. I've always thought that the Dandy Horse Quest series should have a TB hotel for visitors to swap trackables. Thanks to recent completion of this new trail extension, the Horse Hotel is now a reality! Aside from dodging potential poison ivy during the warm months, this should be an easy bike-and-grab. FTF prize of 3 CITO-ready micro cache containers. There is also some swag for kids.  Enjoy!

Bring your Dandy Horse if you have one and start in Peoria. Move up the trail for 26 miles and locate these caches of various sizes, but not overly difficult hides.

Remember to enjoy the trip and look up from your GPSr occasionally! There are plenty of opportunities to smile here besides the ones on your gps.

Trail is open from sunrise to sunset, please no night caching. The cache is placed directly off the trail right-of-way. Please rehide as found or better to keep it out of the sight and hands of muggles. For a trail map click here.
