La stazione Radio posta sul Dosso dei Galli operante dal 1969 al 1995 faceva parte di un link strategico per le radiocomunicazioni nell’ambito Nato, denominato ACE-HIGH Network, che collegava tra di loro e con i centri decisionali e di comando, tutti i Radar Remoti posti sui confini est dell’Alleanza Atlantica.
A Nord era collegata in troposcatter con la base tedesca di Feldberg (codice NATO AFEZ) saltando la Svizzera. In direzione Sud invece era collegata con la base di Cavriana (MN) (codice IMBZ) tramite collegamento LOS in microonde.

Attualmente è completamente abbandonata, e benché ci sia un cancello è possibile entrare a visitarla: attenzione! Entrare in vecchie strutture abbandonate è pericoloso e potrebbe essere vietato (proprietà privata). Se lo fate è a vostro rischio e pericolo, fatelo solo se sapete come muovervi in questi luoghi.

The radio station located on the Dosso dei Galli operating from 1969 to 1995 was part of a strategic link to radio communications within NATO, called ACE-HIGH Network, which connected with each other and with the centers of decision-making and command, all Radar remote places on the eastern borders of the Atlantic Alliance.
To the north it was connected with the base troposcatter German Feldberg (NATO code Afez) jumping in Switzerland. In a southerly direction, however, was connected with the base of Cavriana (MN) (code IMBZ) subscribers in LOS microwave.

Currently it is completely abandoned, and although there is a gate you can get to visit it: be careful! Getting into old abandoned structures is dangerous and may be against (private property). If you do so at your own risk, do it only if you know how to move in these places.
