This is the historic route of Dunbar Road. If you follow it directly east, you would be looking at the site of the old Russ' School, the central point of the farm community know as Russ' Creek. To the north of the school site is a sign for a nature conservancy. The old access to the community cemetery began here. The foundation of the school can still be found beneath the Aspens. The road was realigned in 1995.
