Geocache Description:

A small cache with big views.

One of the most beautiful vistas around.  Grab the cache at Ravens Ridge, then enjoy the views from Deception Peak.  Next you'll want to head over to get the Lake Peak cache.  At a certain point, you might be thinking it's a lot of extra work to get from Deception Peak over to Lake Peak.  I know I always think that.  Now there's another cache to reward your effort.  This cache is at a small prominence between the two.  It is a spice jar with a log.  Didn't have a pencil on me that fit so please BYOP.  Cache is under a rock overhang with some rocks in front of it.  When you are at the cache you should be able to turn around and see the remaining ridgeline over to Lake Peak clearly (not that that is necessarily how you want to get there!).  Please be careful with the drop-offs here. This is challenging terrain. I'm attaching a photo to help you find the cache since nobody wants to do this hike for a DNF.  It's only about 2.5 miles from the Winsor TH at the Ski Basin, but you will climb about 2,000 feet up to over 12,300 feet elevation.  Enjoy the views!

Congratulations to mr. jimmy for the FTF on this cache after 10 months of loneliness!
