Millenium Green

In front of Euxton Hall is an area of land which is owned by the company which runs the nearby private hospital but is in the long-term tenancy of Euxton Parish Council since 1999 when it was turned in to a Millennium Green for the year 2000.

The new signage for the Millennium Green was erected late in 2008 for the Geoff Witts Millennium Green.

The two signs read,

"Euxton Parish Council dedicates this Millennium Green to the memory of Councillor Geoff Witts who inaugurated the Green in 2000, served as a Councillor for 32 years and who sadly died July 2007"

This cache is located towards the Western end of the Green. Parking is available in the Green car park near the main gate to the Green opposite the hospital. This is a very popular muggle and doggle walking area so be on your guard, with the cache hidden in a small copse of trees. The cache is only small with only room for a logbook, so please bring your own pencil. The cache has now been amended slightly and is at ground level. tweezers required. Please try to replace out of sight of the path.
