Wee Basics IV Traditional Cache

A cache & dash on the Forest Loop Trail of the BU Nature Preserve. Terrain and difficulty levels are standard for the preserve (lots of elevation, roots and rocks) but if the trails were paved the hide would be rated 1/1. Hopefully it won't suffer from the problems with river levels that afflicted the first three in the series.

There are two main parking areas for this cache. Lot M0 is most convenient and requires no permit between 5:00 p.m. Friday and midnight Sunday. Parking tickets are expensive, so check the complete visitor parking regulations for the BU campus.

Alternatively you can park at the end of Lehigh Avenue and come in through the Pond Trail. This will be a much longer walk but there are no parking restrictions and you get more time to enjoy the preserve.

Unleashed dogs are not allowed in the natural areas on campus.

The cache is initially stocked with some small ceramic figurines. Please exchange traditional geocaching trade items (except for golf balls -- there's no room for golf balls). Please make sure the top goes on properly.
