Geocache Description:

Here's another amazing spot that offers a commanding view of Desolation Wilderness.  From one side it's straight down to Lily Lake, on the other it's straight down to Upper Angora and the Lemonade stand.

There's a few different ways to get here...  you can start at Echo, Angora, or Lily, but the terrain level will vary depending on your choice.  This could be anywhere from a 3 to a 4.5 based on your approach, but it's all on at least some sort of trail.  My favorite route is via the Tamarack Trail (4 star) which leaves from the road to Lily Lake (take a look for the "Tama-Rack City" cache).  Whichever way you choose to get here, bring good shoes, plenty of water, and your camera. Oh, and make sure you grab a wilderness permit before you go, because while the cache itself is outside of Desolation Wilderness, you'll have to hike through it to get there.
