Abbott Ridge trail is one of the finest hikes of the province. It starts at Glacier House and climbs up to the top of Abbott Ridge with some of the best views of the park. Many of Glacier's trails are steep, but this one makes good use of switchbacks to climb the sidehill up to alpine meadows. At one corner of a zigzag switchback is a wide spot in the trail, with a chance for a rest, and a geocache to find.
This geocache and the others placed by this owner were authorized by Parks Canada, following established policies and procedures (link). Please read the guidelines and support responsible geocaching in our National Parks.
