Geocache Description:

An "almost quick" Park & Grab at Steele Avenue Park.

Steele Avenue Park is one of the many Rapid City Municipal Parks, located at the corner of East Main St and Steele Ave. It's about 8 acres in size, with softball diamonds, a racquetball court, trees for shade, and picnic areas.

The cache is located on or next to the small, old softball backstop that apparently hasn't been used for a while. Well, maybe for a few practice games now and then. The coordinates will get you very close, so look carefully as it blends in well with the surroundings. You don't have to dismantle or open anything to get to it. Please don't drop or lose the container, and use care when replacing it back where you found it. There can be heavy foot and bike traffic here at times, especially during Little League season, so try to look at least half-way normal. If in the slim chance there are players here when you show up to look for it, you might want to pass this one by for later. You will need a pen or pencil for the log, as there obviously isn't room for one in this cache.

As with all our caches, good luck and have fun!
