This cache is located in the Tuhaitara Park. The Karaki to Woodend walkway runs through the park. There are numerous access points to the walkway. The closest entry point to the cache is from Archilles Parade Pines Beach. Work is in progress in this area. Take the metalled walkway to a sign post at S43 22.460 E172 42.294 and head north. You will need to leave the path approx 52m from GZ. Gps coverage in the forest is not great. Difficulty and Terrain have been set accordingly.
You will be looking for a tree which has no paint mark. When hidden the cache was head high in a tree next to two sawn logs that look like stumps. The cache is a camo 200ml sistema. Please bring your own pen.
