Geocache Description:

The Ffir Ffar Run caches are a take off of another long cache series in Volusia County.

Containers for these hides are many and varied.  The type of container depends on the specific area of the hide. Beware....this one may fool you.



There are many geocachers who say that micros are the scum caches of geocaching, and that numbers do not matter. They want to purge the game from all the Ffir Ffar, and make all geocaches hikes to well stocked ammo cans. However, it seems the more the forums spew this purity, the more these Ffir Ffar type power runs are showing up all over the country, with the king of power runs being the Lake Mary Boulevard Series of 60 caches!

In order to appease the local purist geocachers who despise these runs, I have chosen to use NO FILM CANISTERS, even though they are the easiest type of cache to hide. In tribute to these purists I have chosen this particular area of Florida to hide in so that they will always appear cluttering up their geocaching maps with green boxes!

To those of you who will jump at the chance to hunt down the Ffir Ffar and fill up your geocaching.com maps with those adorable yellow smileys, come on out and enjoy, maybe post a nice Ffir Ffar picture or a nice bobbybear1966 joke! Please help us to keep this cache in play for everyone.

If you see that the container needs a new log, feel free to replace it so that we can keep on caching! However, do not attempt to replace this cache or throw down another cache, I will maintain the caches myself.

And as with all bobbybear1966 caches, PLEASE PUT THEM BACK EXACTLY AS YOU FOUND THEM.
