DCP Olde Stone Quarry County Park Traditional Cache

Quarry Park now renamed George K Pinney County Park is located on approximately nine acres of land at 4879 Bay Shore Drive (or County B), about 4 ½ miles north of the City of Sturgeon Bay.  Redevelopment of the Park was completed in August 2006 and facilities include a boat launch and harbor, fishing pier, pavilion, picnic area, parking and restrooms.

The Door County Parks Dept. oversees the development and operation of 19 county parks, covering approximately 948 acres and 12 miles of trails, 7 launching ramps, 3 swimming beaches, 14 restrooms and picnic and playground facilities.  Permission to place Geocaches in the parks obtained from this department. The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to Erik Aleson (DCP&AD) of the Wisconsin DNR. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed lands require permission by means of a notification form. Please print out a paper copy of the notification form, fill in all required information, then submit it to the land manager.
