Geocache Description:

A pretty quick find once in the area, but the terrain is certainly not the easiest. Bring plenty of water and get ready for a slippery incline.

Our geocaching camp, based in Santa Barbara, headed out to Gaviota today to place our first cache. Yay!!! It was a beautiful drive out there, not a cloud in sight! Me and 20 of my very best friends made it to the tippy top wind tunnels, but a lost cache was already registered up there. Bummer! Awww! At least my lunch was good! Yummy in my tummy! Anywho, we started looking for a good hiding spot on the way back down after we were 1/10 of a mile away. Found a great rocky ridge (hence the name, silly goose!) Definitely easier to spot on the way down! Plenty of room for all your cool trading items! Holla coins!
