Geocache Description:

This cache is one of several hides placed for the YOLO GEO RALLY 2013 (http://coord.info/GC4GZTY) held on September 28, 2013.
Congrats to Team Tabbi for the FTF!

PLEASE! ONLY ATTEMPT THIS DURING DAYLIGHT HOURS!

Believe it or not, this is a great place to visit! We met the managers a few years ago while placing DAY 5 of the 12 days of Christmas series. We discussed a tour of the grounds where some interesting people are now remembered. Of course, getting the project moved to the front burner required a "monumental" effort. So with the Yolo Geo Rally coming up, this letterbox became a priority. With the help of the managers, we have put together just a small tour for your enjoyment.

Please follow the stages in order to gather the information for the final coordinates. There is only 6 bits of information to gather from 3 stages, and with some simple math, the GZ will be revealed.

Please remember to be respectful at all times, only attempt during daylight hours (the sheriff does patrol regularly), and come back another day if a service is in progress.

Okay, the final location is an ammo can that is tethered so that it won't walk away. The employees are aware of it's location, but are sworn to secrecy... so don't bother asking!

The final location is: N 38 40.ABC W 121 51.5EF

Stage 1 is the parking lot.

Stage 2 (N 38° 40.699 W 121° 51.540) is a marker for a Korean War Hero whose last name starts with "S".

A = Death Day (add digits)
E = Death Day (subtract digits)
F = Birth Year (first digit)

Stage 3 (N 38° 40.717 W 121° 51.483) is a marker for an Indian Princess.

B = Death year - last digit
C = Birth month

Final (N 38 40.ABC W 121 51.5EF) Please remember the cache is a tethered AMMO box with a very special stamp inside. Please be sure to leave the stamp and pad with the cache. Also, please be sure to watch for thorns, stickers and critters at Ground Zero.
