This geocache is located in a wooded area of Johnson Road Park in Germantown, TN. The 57.5-acre park east of Johnson Road and north of Poplar Avenue contains two lighted soccer fields, two lighted tennis courts, two croquet courts, an eighteen-hole disc golf course, two ADA-accessible playground sites, a pavilion, picnic sites with tables, grills and benches, two lakes with a fountain and water feature in one lake, paved trails, a concession building, restrooms and parking. Please observe posted park hours and rules when hunting this cache.
The geocache is a lock-n-lock container on park property. It is a good old-fashioned cache in the woods. No puzzles, no surprises, just a cache that will definitely get you into the woods while definitely keeping you close to civilization. The log is inside a match container inside the lock-n-lock.
The woods here contain deer. You also may see all types of smaller critters. Those critters can include snakes and all type of bugs. There may even be a few thorns.
The coordinates were obtained by averaging a Garmin 60Csx over 400 times. Please make sure that you leave the container hidden well. Thanks to my collaborators who helped me hide this cache.
