I've noticed a trend of Petey caches popping up lately. I promised a few of the CO's that I would try and place a Petey themed cache to join in on the fun. I decided to dedicate this cache to a cartoon character Pete the Penguin (I had to tack on to his name). Pete the Penguin was famous when I watched Popeye & Pete as a kid. Black and white TV-no remote controls-Rabbit ears for an antennae, no satellite or cable. Pete the Penguin appeared on the daily Casey Jones and Roundhouse Rodney show. I was fortunate to attend the show as a kid and meet Roundhouse Rodney while there. What a great person. He made a very positive impression on me as a kid and I really respected him. Thank-You for helping me place a few caches today Mn-treker. I really appreciate it!
