The cache is a small round plastic container with a screw top. It is in a plastic bag to protect against the elements. Inside there is a log book, pencil, Geocaching laminated card (please leave this as it is not a swap) and a swappable balloon.
Taking a coordinate reading was not easy as it is undecover of trees and I was only using an iPhone app which claimed at the time to be accuarte to within 32ft. I have however, attempted to make as accuarte as I can from the map when logging the cache.
The cache is in a gully, which is part of a public footpath/bridleway and a part of the Mordiford Loop walk. There is some amazing scenery along this walk and two very handy public houses for refreshments.
Nearby is a view point and picnic area. You can leave the car here and the cache is no more than 50 metres from car park. If approaching the cache from below then the cache is near the top of the gully. It can get a bt vergrown at certain times of year, but is reasoably maintained but nettles could be a problem so a stick to knock them back would be a good idea.
