Geocache Description:

Park and Grab.

Gregory's Pond is located in the Brightwood neighborhood in Westfield, NJ. This pond was seen on TV and in the newspaper when there was an alligator in it. Familiar with this neighborhood, I witnessed them take out the alligator. It was about 2 feet in length. It had been someone's pet and grew overtime so they released it into the pond. There are no gators in the pond now. This is the first cache in the neighborhood, however there are a few behind the neighborhood in Brightwood Park. After you explore this cache, I recommend searching for these. This cache can hold trackables and small objects. Please put it back where you found it and make sure it's in a good spot. This is my first cache and I hope you enjoy it. NOTE: THIS IS A FLOOD ZONE. AFTER A LARGE STORM, THE CACHE MAY HAPPEN TO BE RELOCATED DUE TO THE FLOOD WATERS. PLEASE NOTIFY ME IF THIS IS THE CASE!
