Pootle is a very bad cat. His criminal record includes:
- assault (he scratches!)
- wanton destruction of property (especially our sofa)
- public nudity (he ripped off his collar and ran around outside)
- theft (of my breakfast)
- blackmail ("feed me or I'll whine")
- burglary (he stole a slice of bread from next door)
- breaking and entering (he has been known to wander round our neighbour's house)
- murder (of moths)
In order to reform his character he has on occasion been sent to the cat prison near this cache. Unfortunately these spells inside have not had much of a positive effect on his behaviour, and so next time we go on holiday we will have to incarcerate him yet again.
The cache is a small tupperware box.
