This cache is part of the Train Spotter series, and inspired of geoson's love of trains.

Clarendon is a station on the Sydney Trains Richmond line, located in the Sydney suburb of Clarendon. It serves the Hawkesbury Racecourse, but otherwise there is little residential or industrial building in the vicinity.

The station has a crossing loop with catchpoints. The station opened in 1870, 6 years after the opening of the Richmond Line in 1864.
