This cache is located at the Columbus Commons which happens to be the prior location of the Columbus City Center Mall (yep, we're going old school with that reference). They tore down the mall and created an awesome huge green space right in the heart of downtown...then months later tore up a huge portion of the space to put up luxury apartments. Makes sense, right?
Nevertheless, the park remains an awesome area despite the never-ending construction. There is a huge stage at the North end that hosts concerts, plays, symphonies and movie nights. There are also fitness classes, food trucks, kickball tournaments. In fact, many of my foot races have started and or finished here. Simply put, the schedule of happenings here is amazing.

This isn't a particularly creative cache for me. I expect to place future caches in this park that make much better use of the surroundings. However, for now, I just wanted to draw people to a cool place right in downtown Columbus.
The official park hours are 7 am to 11 pm.
The cache is wheelchair accessible.
