The hider of this RV series of caches is Lis, the Carer for Angus 88 the great GeoWestie. He's had all the fun so far but he cannot hide caches. Lis can, and plans to place caches in RV friendly areas where the larger vehicles [caravans and motor homes] can safely park and turn around. Each cache area will encompass either a good day spot with facilities or an area for free overnight camping, or both. The caches of course, are also suitable to normal vehicled cachers. Each cache will be prefixed with RV.
This cache is in the RV series as there is good large vehicle parking, either on solid ground or amongst the trees and well within walking distance of the town centre. 500m will bring you to the beginning of the main shopping precinct.
Coolah is the eastern gateway to the Warrumbungle region, centrally located. Coolah is recognised as a pleasant town, picturesquely nestled in the hills with 2 pubs, a motel, an upgraded and friendly caravan park with cabins, and a wide range of services. Just 35k into the hills lies Coolah Tops National Park.
If you stay and do all six Coolah caches put down by Angus88 you will visit some interesting spots but there is a modern Information Tourist Centre for full details of the town and area.
