Clee View
An easily accessible hidden cache along the adjacent ridge looking over towards the Titterstone Clee Hill. The Titterstone Clee is part of the scenic Shropshire Hills which are part of the designated SSSI. It has been confirmed by Natural England however, that this cache is located outside of the SSSI boundary.
This is a lovely location for a quick grab and dash cache, or can be picked up on a longer walk over the wonderful Clee Hill itself.
On a sunny day, glorious views can be seen to the west looking out towards Wales. It’s also a fabulous location for bird watchers – kestrels, stonechats, black redstarts, buzzards, meadow pipits and even the odd wheatear and ring ouzel has been spotted here!
A lovely cache for all the family. Many sheep on the Clee, so geocaching dogs should be kept under control at all times. Parking is straight forward; in the quarry car park at the top of the hill making it a great cache for geocaching younglings !
The cache is a small round clipable lock top container. It contains a log book and pencil, a number of swappables (carefully selected by our own little geocacher) as well as a TB on a mission! All discretely concealed in a black bag.
Enjoy the views and happy caching !
