THIS BONUS CACHE IS NOT AT THE ABOVE CO-ORDINATES, WHICH IS THE LOCATION OF A WELL AND WHEELHOUSE IN THE GROUNDS OF GREY'S COURT.
The cache is located at N51 33.ABC W000 57.DEF - you will need to visit the other caches in the Chiltern Wells series to find the missing numbers.
It is placed at another Victorian water-related feature which is a short drive away. When you get to the right place, it's a cache and dash.
We've put a £1 coin in the cache as a prize for the FTF!
The well and wheelhouse at Grey's Court are definitely worth visiting, especially if you're National Trust members - otherwise it's rather expensive to get in. Visiting info here: (visit link)
The well itself probably dates from the 12th century and is 200 feet deep. The wheelhouse and donkey wheel are Tudor.
The donkey wheel is 19 feet in diameter and is apparently the largest to survive in England. As the donkey walked on the wheel, buckets were raised from the well and tipped into a water tank up above.
According to the info board, it suppled water to the house until 1914.
