This is part of a series of caches along the Great AuSable River.This river is fed by numerous brooks and several significant tributaries, and is continually charged by the countless ground springs bubbling up from the Marshall and Coldwater-Antrim aquifers. In fact, the Au Sable is a spring creek, one of the five largest ground-spring rivers in North America.
