Situated in the Botanical Gardens is a section of garden dedicated to friends. These friends are members of the Friendship Force Clubs which are active all over the world.
Friendship Force Australia is part of the Friendship Force International worldwide network of clubs and individuals that promote global understanding across the barriers that separate people. They do this through a program of exchanges by opening their homes as local hosts to ambassadors (visitors) from other countries and cultures so that a true understanding of each other can develop through the sharing of meals, conversation and the routines of daily life.
Each time a group of ambassadors come to Bundaberg, a tree is dedicated to commemorate that bond between friends.
Take a stroll through the gardens & read the plagues on the trees. Some of the plagues are missing but the trees still stand as a reminder that Friends are Forever.
