Geocache Description:

The Deerpoint Trail is a beautiful hike along the East side of Christina Lake in BC's Kootenay-Boundary Country. The initial portion is pretty steep but it flattens out and leads all the way to the North end of the lake. Stunning views along the way. Wildlife is abundant. You can walk or run or hike or bike. This cache along with two others on the route celebrates the Deerpoint Trail. I hope you enjoy it.

In the summer I'm on this trail almost every day. There are parts of it that I love for the view alone. This is not one of those. This location is significant to me because its a destination point without a view. A cool place where the trail takes a deeper turn into the woods. Its very distinctive and you will know it when you get to it. Thecache is a small camo tuppeware container. It should not be hard to find. Original swag includes a FTF pin and TB "Tiki". There are two other caches, one before and one after this one. Enjoy the hike.
