The 39 Steps Traditional Cache

The 39 Steps is a reference to the house number and is a short walk up the hill from the High Street. Please only search the black, wrought-iron gate at this address. You do not need to open the gate as easily found from pavement.

Located in a Victorian residential street within the conservation area of Berkhamsted. Accessible from the pavement but located on a steep hill south of the Grand Union Canal. Parking can be difficult so advise an approach on foot. A footpath to the street is available to the south. Please be considerate to our muggle neighbours and only search at No 39. If in doubt please contact CO for more info. We will have to consider removing this cache if our neighbours are inadvertently disturbed.
