For this cache, you need to bring a flashlight. You need a “good” flashlight, not a keyring flashlight, also bring an extra flashlight with extra batteries, just in case one fails. If possible, you’d like it to project a beam out to 100-150 feet, though i tried to place the markers closer together.
At the start of the trail head look for 2 horizontal reflectors. After that there will only be 1 reflector to look for, it can be on the right or left side of the trail. Follow the reflector along the trail.
For night cache #2 & #3 at the junction go left then return to the junction to continue down the trail to your left for #4 night cache.
Once you see 3 vertical reflectors on the same tree, one on top of the other, you are close. Stand next to that tree and look all around to find the next single reflector. This part of the hunt is off the trail and can be up to 200 ft. So be very careful of low trees and branches that can hit you in the eyes (if you have sport glasses or something for your eyes you should use them for this part).
You will now look for 3 horizontal reflectors to indicate that the cache is below. The cache is not winter friendly but the reflectors indicate how close you are to the cache. The cache is a lock n lock.
From the cache location is a single reflector indicating the way back to the trail. From here the reflectors continues along the trail into the woods for the next cache. Should you choose to quit here there are no reflectors to take you back to the start. Just follow the trail or you trail back feature on the gps.
